This tiny new human will have a profound impact on your family. They will bring their own unique personality to the world and you will build a whole new relationship together.

Parenthood will have moments of wild intensity and a rollercoaster of emotions! It is a constant evolution and takes some creativity and grace; with ourselves and with baby! I can provide gentle guidance, reassurance and practical tips to navigate these early days and weeks of recovery and growth. 

There will be poop, there will be laughter, there will be tears! We will work to nourish and replenish you and your family.

 
 
Just as there is no right or wrong way to birth a baby- there is no right or wrong way to parent your baby- there is your way and everything is figureoutable! THREE PACKAGES TO CHOOSE FROM

 

Helping Hands

$338*

A little extra help to get you settled!

  • Prenatal consultation (phone or virtual)

  • 6 hours of in person postpartum support.

  • Educational materials and references for parenthood, baby care and recovery.

  • On call email, text and phone support for one month.

  • Available from the first hours after the birth of your infant(s) depending on availability of your doula. To be used within 1 month.

  • Shifts are a minimum of 3 hours.


THE BALANCE

$756*


A great balance of prenatal and postpartum support to nourish and replenish you.

  • 2 hour prenatal (in home) visit to create your postnatal plan.

  • 12 hours of postpartum support

  • Educational materials and references for parenthood, baby care and recovery.

  • On call email, text and phone support for one month.

  • Available from the first hours after the birth of your infant(s) depending on availability of your doula. To be used within 1 month.

  • Shifts are a minimum of 3 hours.

 

ExtrA! EXTRA!

$956*

Extra preparation, extra care, and extra helping hands for a smooth transition into parenthood.

  • 4 hours prenatal (in home) visits to create your postnatal plan, including feeding, sleep, newborn and parent care.

  • 12 hours of postpartum support

  • Educational materials and references for parenthood, baby care and recovery.

  • On call email, text and phone support for one month.

  • Available from the first hours after the birth of your infant(s) depending on availability of your doula. To be used within 1 month.

  • Shifts are a minimum of 3 hours.

*HST will be added during payment.

Extra hours of support can be purchased in three hour blocks, for $38/hr or an additional Month of Text & Talk for $100 Plus HST.


 

Meeting prenatally can help set you up for a smoother transition into parenthood. You also get the extra benefit of a shared care model, meaning that you get the expert support and insight from myself and a doula from my team.

Each package can include but is not limited to:

Postpartum visits:

In addition to the items in the prenatal visits:

  • Physical help with baby care -bathing, diapering, calming techniques, sleep.

  • Physical help with your recovery - providing you with nap time, a chance to eat, or a shower.

  • Movement for recovery, simple tips and guidance for healing.

  • Emotional support - processing your birth experience and new parenthood.

  • Reviewing or implementing any prenatal information and plans, including help with siblings.

  • Managing daily life including helping you get out the door to appointments.

  • Referrals to other health & wellness practitioners. 

Prenatal Visits:

  • Setting up your village and teaching them how to support you well.

  • Setting up realistic expectations around new born appearance, behaviour, sleep and feeding.

  • Education on everything from diapering and bathing to setting up your home.

  • Babywearing guidance and other comforting techniques for baby.

  • Skilled guidance and education in breast/ chest and bottle feeding. 

  • Assistance with sibling or new grandparent transitions.

  • Movement for birth and recovery.

 

I take on a limited number of births and postpartum families each month so as to be able to fully support each family. It’s never too early (or too late!) to Get in Touch and find out what Doula Support could look like for you!

Ruth! thanks so much for coming by for the postpartum visit! I’m feeling much better about breastfeeding, just need some more practice, but we’re getting there.
