Birth Doula Support

Birth Doula Support Services

Everyone has an opinion on your pregnancy: how you labour, give birth, and parent your baby.
What if you could explore factual, non-biased information in a creative, judgment-free environment that encourages you to respect your intuition and ask questions?
As a certified doula I provide comfort, support and information that will prepare you physically and emotionally for your birth experience and caring for a newborn.

All my packages, listed below, include full attendance at your birth, talk & text support throughout your whole pregnancy, and some postpartum care. Together, we will create a personalized "strategic plan" for your pregnancy to parenthood journey that will leave you feeling knowledgeable and confident about your choices! You also get the extra benefit of a shared care model, meaning that you get the expert support and insight from myself and a doula from my team.

I take on a limited number of births and postpartum families each month so as to be able to fully support each family. It’s never too early (or too late!) to Get in Touch and find out what Doula Support could look like for you!

There is no right way to grow and birth a baby- there is your way! I can help make this experience a positive one for you, your partner and your family! Contact me to set up your free consult!

No questions are too big or too small!
I am always happy to chat about anything related to your pregnancy to parenthood journey.

Ruth was such an essential member of my birth team! Had she not been there, there is no chance I would have been able to manage both the physical and emotional aspects of labour with my first son. She worked with me continuously through 16hr of labour, using hands on pain management techniques and then appropriate cues to help me push effectively.

As a pelvic physiotherapist, I felt I had many of the skills to manage labour and delivery but I simply couldn’t have asked for a better support person to remind me in the moment of things I needed to be doing and her hands on skills.

Her follow up postpartum included a ton of helpful tips related to feeding, baby care and how to better understand my baby’s cues. Ruth is such a professional, calm, caring and knowledgeable person and doula.

I highly recommend you include her in your next birth!
